02 / Course structure

Three components, one driving standard

This course is for drivers who already control the car. What changes across eight sessions is what you register before a situation develops: scan coverage, reaction timing, and following distance at defined checkpoints.

  1. Theory instruction

Six hours in three blocks. Hazard anticipation sequencing, visual search patterns at speed, and the physics limits that decide whether a manoeuvre is recoverable.

    • Eye-path modelling with annotated overlay
    • Stopping distance against surface and load
    • Night and low-contrast recognition cues
  2. Practical simulations

Four lab sessions with instructor debriefs. Each run is recorded, timed, and compared against your previous pass so progress is read as data, not as opinion.

    • Reaction timing at three marked checkpoints
    • Following distance held under load
    • Emergency lane-change with obstacle release
  3. Safe driving technique on road

Four supervised road hours on mixed routes. You keep the wheel; the instructor observes and marks scan coverage and hazard anticipation in the running debrief dossier.

    • City interchanges and merging at pace
    • Wet and gravel transitions
    • Written after-action summary per session

Entry requirements are firm: two or more years of active driving and roughly 30,000 km. See prerequisites or write to us from the reservation form.

02 / Prerequisites

Entry requirements, stated plainly

Vezha is built for drivers who already command the car. The course changes what you notice before a situation develops, so the entry bar sits above basic control. If you are still building confidence behind the wheel, this is the wrong course at the wrong time.

You can enrol when all of these apply

  • Two or more years of active driving. Lane discipline, braking and mirror rhythm are already automatic, not deliberate.
  • Roughly 30,000 km behind the wheel. Mixed city and highway distance counts; simulator hours do not.
  • A valid category B licence held without suspension or revocation in the past twelve months.
  • A roadworthy, insured car for the practical blocks, or a simulation lab bay if you prefer to start there.
  • Willingness to be measured. Every session is logged in the debrief dossier: scan coverage, reaction timing and following distance at defined checkpoints.

Not sure you qualify? The assessment drive settles it in one session, before you pay for a full tier.

03 / Course comparison

Which course fits your driving record

Three formats, one method. You already control the car, so the work moves to what you see before a situation develops. Fees are listed in UAH and itemised. Read the what is not included block before you choose a tier.

Comparison of the Core awareness, Winter awareness and Refresher courses
Course Core awareness Winter awareness Refresher
Length 6 sessions x 90 min 4 sessions x 90 min 2 sessions x 60 min
Prerequisites Two or more years of active driving, about 30,000 km Core completed, or winter driving exposure confirmed on a short call Core or Winter completed within the last 18 months
Where the work happens Theory room, simulator, then city and highway routes Theory room, low-friction simulator module, then winter road checks Simulator re-scan drill plus one road session on a route you drive
Debrief dossier Scan coverage, reaction timing, following distance at four checkpoints Same, plus braking distance readings on low-grip surfaces Your baseline measured against your earlier dossier
Instructors Two, theory and road, fixed pair Two, with one winter-road specialist One, matched to your earlier course
Fee (UAH) 18 400 14 900 6 200

Each fee covers instruction, simulator hours and the written debrief dossier. Fuel is billed at cost. Vehicle hire and state examination fees sit outside these figures.

04 / Exclusions

What is not included

Every course fee is listed in UAH and covers instruction, simulator hours, in-car sessions and your written debrief dossier. The items below are billed separately and are never folded into the quoted figure.

  • 01

    Fuel used during in-car sessions

Billed at cost, calculated from the odometer reading at the start and end of each session. The rate is printed on your session sheet.

    At cost
  • 02

    Academy vehicle hire

Applies only if you choose to train in our car instead of your own. Deducted per session, not per course.

    UAH 1 200 / session
  • 03

    State examination fees

Practical and theory examination charges are paid by you directly to the service centre. We book the slot, we do not collect the fee.

    Paid by you
  • 04

Extra in-car hours beyond the package

Optional. Added only when your instructor and you agree that more wheel time is needed after the final debrief.

    UAH 950 / hour
  • 05

    Travel and accommodation

For the two-day simulation block, if you come from outside Kyiv. Arranged by you; our office can suggest nearby places.

06 / Reservation

Hold a seat on the next debrief intake

Intake size is capped so every driver leaves with a completed debrief dossier. Leave your details and we confirm your tier, dates and the eligibility check by phone.

  • Two or more years of active driving and roughly 30,000 km behind the wheel.
  • Arrive in a vehicle you already control. This is not learner tuition or a refresher course.
  • Prices in UAH, itemised. Fuel is billed at cost; vehicle hire and state examination fees sit outside the course fee.
